Hi, I'm Lucia Tringali!
I'm a technical writer, a documentation manager, a single-sourcing guru, an AI engineer, and two time small business owner.
This all means that I'm a darn wizard and amazing at wearing multiple hats with competing priorities.
This also means that I've done it and seen it all *so far 🤞🏼*.
If you're in need of content, branding, UX storytelling, launching a business, or even something else - I'm your Girl!
How I Got Here
In 2012 I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Umass Amherst with the goal of working in a forensic lab. A few months after graduation I landed my first job - a R&D Lab Associate! Yay ... except there was a problem; I hated it and I felt screwed. Stalling out at the start line, pretty demotivating if you ask me.
However, fast foward to Spring 2013 when I discovered a listing for a Technical Writing job preferring someone with Chemistry knowledge. What is technical writing? I didn't know but I knew it wasn't the lab, so apply I did and hired I was. Boom 💥, there I was fresh on the scene as the newest Tech Writer without a single clue on how to do the job. Can you say learning curve required? After a lot of "wait what"s,"huh?"s, and mistake making, I finally started to understand just what this was all about. Here I am still working as a technical writer, a doc manager even, 13 years later. Guess I figured it out then?
So there I was it was 2022, I was working, living life, going out with friends, taking pole classes at a pole dance studio - for years until it hit me. Pole dancers use a lot of grip aids that once applied never want to come off and I wanted to fix that sensory nightmare. Remember that chem degree? Well get ready for some whiplash because she's back in action! Aided with my college knowledge and my own lab *ahem kitchen* I formulated my first product: Antidote - The Grip Remover and my first business Apolethecary was born. Since then it has grown to a 5 product suite all tailor made for pole dancers with natural and ethically sourced ingredients.
But that's not all, in May of 2023 I was offered the oppurtunity to open my own pole dance studio at beyond entry level costs and I couldn't resist. Voilà! THE|BAR was born.
If you've been following this far, then yes that means I work my full-time job as a documentation manager/writer, and run both a product based and service based business.
How could I possibly have the time and bandwidth to consult and freelance? Why with the same thing I'll prescribe to you, AI engineering of course!
